Description

This subject is dedicated to the study of the complex relationship that the general field of aesthetics (art, beauty, creativity, sensibility, aesthetic experience) establishes over time with cultural, social, political, ethical and technical variables. Beginning with a series of key concepts that define aesthetic ideas in the West and the sensibilities of each era, we will explore their manifestations in history and in artistic and design practice. However, beyond a linear journey, this subject aims to create a narrative that provides a guide for navigating the intricate historical, philosophical, and artistic framework of the field of aesthetics.
