Scholarships and grants
As a student of BAU, College of Arts & Design of Barcelona, you can obtain various grants and scholarships throughout your academic life at this centre, as well as special discounts and preferential terms for internal and external financing.

Grants and scholarships provided by the centre
Collaboration grants
These grants allow you to combine studies with tasks of educational collaboration in various services provided by the centre, with a monthly remuneration that can be about 60% of the annual cost (for a 60 ECTS course). This grant is available from the 2nd course.
NOTE: Master's Degree students are excluded from this scholarship.
Practical work
Combining studies with practical work in the Centre’s design and communication departments constitutes a valuable period of training and analysis, as it allows students to apply and complement the knowledge acquired while they obtain their academic qualifications and, at the same time, trains the future professionals to join the employment market, with a monthly salary that can be about 45% of the annual cost (for a 60 ECTS course).

These will allow you to pay for the whole course in 10 instalments, with no additional charges.
Discounts on language courses
You will benefit from a 25% discount on English courses taught at the BAU through the Languages School at the University of Vic - Central University of Catalonia.
Summer University discounts
You will benefit from a 10% discount on any course of the Summer University that takes place during July.
Discounts on RAC (Recognition of Complementary Activities) Courses
You will benefit from a 35% discount on any RAC course arranged for the BAU during the academic year.

As a student on an official university degree course, you are entitled to apply for social scholarships and grants provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.

Erasmus Study grants
For studying at a higher educational institution offering academic recognition of studies in another country of the European Union with which the BAU, Design College of Barcelona, has signed an agreement.
Erasmus grants for Practical Work
For carrying out practical work with academic recognition in a company or organisation in another country of the European Union.

Scholarships for students who participate in the Erasmus programme and who meet the requirements set by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
Mobint scholarships
Grants to assist the international mobility of the student with academic recognition in accordance with the requirements of the Agency for the Management of University and Research Grants of the Generalitat de Catalunya.
Language immersion grant
Studying for an official university qualification entitles you to apply for the language immersion courses provided by the Ministry of Education, Culture and Sport.
