Description

This subject continues the exploration of time-based artistic practices, including audiovisual, sound art, and performance. The peculiarity of this subject is that it proposes a reflection on how the context affects the production and reception of the work, from the ideation to the installation of the work in a specific space.
The subject is a workshop and experimentation space that is fundamentally practical. As in the rest of the subjects of this material, two essential areas are connected: on one hand, the knowledge of the materials and their behaviors, as well as the learning of various techniques and technologies; on the other hand, the exploration of artistic language and its aesthetic and communicative dimensions.
Practical experimentation is accompanied by work with artistic references in this field, both contemporary and historical, offering a broader perspective that enriches and contextualizes the creative process.
