Description

This subject proposes an introduction to time-based practices, including audiovisual, sound art, and performance. The subject offers a workshop space and experimentation with a predominantly practical approach. As in the rest of the subjects of this course, two essential areas are connected: on the one hand, the knowledge of materials and their behaviors, as well as the learning of various techniques and technologies; on the other, the exploration of artistic language and its aesthetic and communicative dimensions. Practical experimentation is accompanied by work with artistic references in this area, both contemporary and historical, offering a broader perspective that enriches and contextualizes the creative process.
