Presentation

With constant technological growth, the scope of image production is constantly expanding with new resources for production, editing, and dissemination. As visual users and creators open up to new horizons their ability to act in different areas increases, with direct consequences for artistic and technical fields.

In live audiovisuals, images are produced for an audience in situ whose reactions can retroactively affect the production of content itself. Thus, there is a function associated with this type of creation: to influence a social environment to reach an emotional meeting point.

This course is aimed at audiovisual professionals who want to learn a new tool for video editing in real time and students who are developing their skills in the field of video, as well as visual artists who want to delve into handling their material in projects performed live.

What is learnt can be used to carry out both artistic and corporate projects. Events ranging from live visuals for music bands and/or festivals, performances and theatre sets to video control on fashion catwalks, corporate presentations, sports events, and live television programs. During the course, other uses for this technique will be reviewed.
