Description
This subject aims to allow the student to understand how events and culture influence design, and how design in turn influences culture. The human ability to design has remained constant throughout history, it is the mediums and technologies that have been modified, in parallel to the technological, organizational and cultural changes of the different epochs. Throughout the semester, the student will be invited to take a chronological journey, through the different epochs, styles and most important schools in the history of design, without forgetting the various political and socio-cultural contexts.
