Digital Animation II

This subject belongs to the itinerary of Audiovisual Design

  • Studies: Bachelor Degree in Design
  • Credits: 6 ECTS
  • Year: Third year
  • Type: Elective
  • Mention: Audiovisual Design Itinerary
  • Subject code: GDVA53

Description

This subject provides students with the knowledge and skills needed to develop 3D projects in the field of Motion Graphics and digital animation. Essential techniques such as modeling, texturing, lighting, animation, and rendering will be worked on, ensuring an efficient workflow and seamless integration between different digital tools.
On a practical level, students will learn to solve polygonal modeling with optimization techniques, create animations by applying the twelve basic principles of animation, and design virtual environments through lighting and realistic materials. In addition, basic physical simulations will be developed using dynamics engines and collision effects.
Finally, the course encourages autonomy in the production of 3D animation projects, from the initial modeling phase to lighting and animation, applying innovative tools and techniques to meet the needs of the current audiovisual sector.
