Professional activity and/or experience

Costume designer with more than 10 years’ experience. She lives in Barcelona, and has worked in Paris and London for many years. For Xènia, each new project is a way to describe reality using colours, shapes, volumes, and personalities. She specialised in historical costume at Saint Martin's School in London. She considers herself a true artisan, creating each costume with her own hands, mixing materials, fabrics, and pieces to achieve a unique composition. Some directors with whom she has collaborated include Isaki Lacuesta, Luis Cerveró, Lope Serrano, Nico Méndez, J. A. Bayona, Sheila Johansson, Mary Clerte, Marc Oller, Stephanie Di Giusto, Helmi, Daniel Wolfe, Pep Bosch, and Ornella Pacchioni, among many others.
