  • Postgraduate in Art Direction from ELISAVA
  • Master’s Degree in Set Design and Scenographic Spaces from Berlin Technical University (TU, Berlin)
  • Art Direction workshop at the Cuban Film and Television School (EICTV).

Professional activity and/or experience

Miren works with concepts and scripts for fiction and short documentary and feature films, music videos, advertising, and still photography. She enjoys experimenting with different materials and spaces and is interested in the surreal, anthropology, and any aesthetic-conceptual challenge.

She has collaborated with renowned international directors such as Urszula Antoniak, Joy Song, Susanne Heinrich, Jean Pierre Bekolo, and Steffi Niederzoll, and for artists such as ARCA, Milky Chance, Berwyn, and Purple Disco Machine. She has been Art Director on films that have achieved recognition at international film festivals such as The Berlinale, The Toronto Film Festival, and The Palm Springs Festival.

In 2019, she participated in the Production Design workshop held during Berlinale Talents and is a member of the Production Designers Collective. She was a judge in the Production Design section at the D&AD Design Festival 2021.
