Professional activity and/or experience

Since the mid-1990s, Maria de la Cambra and Gabriel Paré have dedicated themselves to the development of arts applied to the field of space. Their work is notable for its continuous exploration of space, light, and the objects that occupy it, with a transgressive attitude borne out by the positioning of their work at the limits of paratheatricality. The reconciliation between space and light becomes the basis of creation and application in montages. They are teachers in Master's degree and postgraduate programs at the Polytechnic University of Catalonia and tenured professors in the performing arts degree program offered at Eram University School. They have been nominated for awards, such as the Gaudí and the Goya Awards, and several of their productions have been recognised with awards such as FAD, Butaca, Ciutat de Barcelona, and the 2016 Critics' Prize for their collaboration with various dance companies.
