Description

This subject introduces the use of the English language in the professional field. Conceived as a workshop, the subject focuses on the linguistic and performative elements of communication, starting from a creative conception of texts and presentation forms that accompany and shape work in art. Various approaches to the subject are proposed through specific practical exercises, oriented to explore specific issues and experiment with the text through writing and oral presentation, as well as in relation to other media and languages. The exercises are contextualized through historical and theoretical frameworks that allow to position each proposal with respect to its tradition and contemporary languages, with specific references and the analysis of their different physical, aesthetic and cultural dimensions.
