Activity and / or professional career

The practice of it focuses on the physical exploration of urban space and how individuals establish connections with the environment in which they live. Her work combines sculptures, installations, texts and performances that reflect on the notions of place, identity and participation between reality and fiction. She explores the site-specific practice that elaborates imaginary territories or embodies real places with fictional contexts, reclaiming the role of imagination as a fundamental value in the construction of our knowledge.

Research

Ludovica is currently a member of Pipistrello, a program that produces and hosts artistic projects in the natural and historical region of Empordà, Catalonia. In 2017 she is a research associate at the Jan Van Eyck Academie, Maastricht. She is a co-founder of Progetto Diogene, an International Residency Program in public space and The Institute of Things to Come, a research center on futurological scenarios.
