Talent in BAU

BAU's mission is to promote knowledge transfer and disseminate excellence and creative talent among students, Alumni, and the teaching and research staff (PDI) of the center.

To achieve this, BAU promotes creative potential through the Projection and Talent Promotion Area by collaborating with companies and creating events and promotional actions such as BAU Talent Networking and Bau Talent Visions. From this area, community participation in contests and events of significant social, scientific, and academic impact at the national and international level is encouraged and funded.

The academic programs at BAU have a high project-based and material-intensive approach. Through practice and hands-on experience, students condense theory and learn key concepts. Many projects carried out at the center are driven by the Projection and Talent Promotion Area with the aim of showcasing them to important companies and institutions, thus creating synergies in different creative sectors.

The area supports, funds, and accompanies students, both undergraduates, master's students, and alumni, in renowned competitions and festivals, as well as in collaborations with significant companies and projects in the city and country. The Projection and Talent Promotion Area also integrates BAU's Communication Department, which plays a key role in the dissemination and promotion of the center's creative potential.

In order to showcase the excellence of graduate students, BAU organizes BAU Talent Visions, a selection of presentations of Final Degree Projects that showcase the wide variety and typology of projects carried out in the Degree in Design.

The employment integration of BAU graduates into the professional ecosystem is one of the center's objectives. For this reason, since 2012, the BAU Talent Networking event has been organized. It is an event where recent graduates meet with companies from the creative industry to generate professional contacts and facilitate their employment integration.

Prior to the BAU Talent Networking, the center offers a comprehensive training program with lectures and practical workshops aimed at students registered for the event to prepare them for their new phase as design professionals.

BAU has the collaboration of prominent companies in the creative field, who support and accompany the professional development of university students.
