Journalist and producer

Journalist and producer with experience in documentaries, investigative journalism and audiovisual production. Specialised in immersive narratives and the use of technologies such as Extended Reality (XR) and Artificial Intelligence in documentary filmmaking.

Professional career

She has worked as an investigative journalist and producer of reports, documentaries and TV documentary series in different production houses and channels, such as the programmes Informe Especial (Televisión Nacional de Chile), ¿Qué Comes? (Televisión Nacional de Chile), Viral (Televisión Nacional de Chile), Misión Encubierta (Mega), Serie de Problemáticas Chilenas (HispanTV), and documentaries such as Chicago Boys (directed by Carola Fuentes & Rafael Valdeavellano), Locaciones (directed by Alberto Fuguet).

Since 2018 produces non-fiction films with international scope in cinema format and Extended Realities (XR). Together with filmmaker Francisca Silva, they founded Galgo Storytelling, an audiovisual production company considered a creative laboratory, from where they develop and produce their current projects, all told through narratives that implement the use of technology.

She is producer of the feature documentary ‘A la Sombra de la Luz’, directed by Isabel Reyes & Ignacia Merino (Premiere Sheffield Doc Fest, Winner Best Film Fecils, Sanfic, Camden International Film Festival, CineBH, RIDM, Zinebi, Fecich, Ñuble Cine), is co-director and producer of the virtual reality documentary ‘Secreto Ancestral VR’ (Premiere Idfa DocLab 2024), co-directed with Francisca Silva and co-produced by NowHere Media from Germany. She is producer of ‘Knowing Your Nature’, a mixed reality project about meditation and forests, currently in development. She is currently developing ‘Chuchu’, her directorial debut, a personal and intimate documentary with archival footage and artificial intelligence.

She has collaborated as production manager for different film and Artificial Intelligence projects, produced by the Barcelona-based company Artefacto, such as Ahalaken for EITB Lab (Basque Country) and Membrana, an adaptation of the novel of the same name written by the Catalan author Jorge Carrión.

She has attended more than 15 international markets with selected projects and as a member of the Chilean Mission chosen by the Chilean Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage (Mincap). These include the official selection at Idfa DocLab Forum 2023, with the project ‘Knowing Your Nature’; official selection at Cannes Docs 2023, with the project ‘A la Sombra de la Luz’; CPH: DOX 2023, selected as a member production company of the promotion agency Chiledoc for Market Exploration Mission; Venice International Film Festival 2022, selected to integrate the Chilean Mission of Mincap; Sheffield Doc Fest 2023, World Premiere of ‘In the Shadow of the Light’; official selection Idfa DocLab Forum 2020, with the project ‘Secreto Ancestral VR’; official selection of Hot Docs Forum 2020, with the project ‘A la Sombra de la Luz’, and selected in the Producers Hub of the European Film Market 2020, among others.

She worked as Communications Director in the 2nd, 3rd and 4th version of the Ñuble Film Festival, the most important film festival in the Ñuble Region, Chile.
