Co-director of the Cinema, Algorithms and Artificial Intelligence course at the UAB. Expanded documentary tutor of the documentary master's degree at the Autonomous University of Barcelona. Associate Professor of Interactive Narratives at Pompeu Fabra. Professor of Digital Creation and Authorship II at BAU. He has given workshops at DOCSMX, DocumentaMadrid or San Antonio de los Baños, among others.

He has been a jury member of several international calls and festivals; and he is a member of the selection committee of the IDFA Bertha Fund. Co-founder of the production company GusanoFilms (Barcelona - Bogotá).

He has directed/produced award-winning films and digital projects screened at festivals such as: HotDocs, SXSW, DocNYC, Mar del Plata, Visions Du Reel, Cartagena or Malaga among others.

He has been a fellow of the Sundance Institute within the Stories of Change program, and selected within the Emerging Producers of the Jihlava festival, and the Berlinale Talents.

His work has been supported by televisions and funds such as Tribeca FI, Discovery Channel, Ibermedia, TVCatalunya, ICEC, ICAA, SeñalColombia, ARTE, YLE, among others.

Investigation

Film and Artificial Intelligence Researcher

Researcher on impact metrics in cinema. He has made a virtual reality series with the UN on the peace process in Colombia, and developed a study with behavioral scientists on the ability of cinema to generate pro-social behavioral changes. He advances data studies around the creation of films, their relevance, and the questioning of the author; in an audiovisual ecosystem overflowing with content.
