Architect and doctorate from the UPC, his research is linked to the new types of housing from the nineteenth and twentieth centuries.several international seminars and conferences and in national-funded research projects.

He is associate professor of the Degree in Design and the master's degree in design of interior spaces in BAU, Design Colllege of Barcelona. He participates as a guest professor in various masters, postgraduates and courses of the College of Architects of Catalonia and the College of Technical Architects and Construction Engineers of Tarragona on architectural restoration. He has been invited to lecture in the fields of teaching innovation and architectural restoration at the UPC and UVic, among others.

He has been a member of the Genís-Planelles Architecture studio since 2001. His professional activity includes architectural and interior design projects published in various media, and rehabilitation and restoration interventions in various cultural assets of national interest and local.
