Ester Jordana

PhD in Philosophy

She is a PhD in Philosophy, a Bachelor's Degree in Psychology (URV, 2001) and Philosophy (UB, 2008 - Extraordinary Prize) and Master in Contemporary Thought (UB, 2009 - Extraordinary Prize). Between the years 2009 and 2014 he was a beneficiary of the University Teaching Training Grant (FPU), awarded by the Ministry of Education. In the framework of his pre-doctoral training, she has taught the courses of Aesthetics and Contemporary Theories of art and literature at the University of Barcelona. She has also studied research at the Université Paris-Est Créteil Val de Marne and at the Foucault Center. She has participated in various national and international conferences, also conducting courses and conferences both in institutional and non-institutional spaces.
She is currently an associate professor at the Bachelor of Design in Bau, University Design Center and consultancy at the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya (UOC) in the Degree in Social Education.
Her research work revolves around the notion of transformation in its many dimensions. she is part of the Chair of Contemporary Philosophy, a research group from the Faculty of Philosophy of the University of Barcelona. Likewise, it collaborates with GREDITS in the Objectologies line.
She is also one of the coordinators of the "Barcelona Pensa" Philosophy Festival organized by the University of Barcelona. She is finalizing his doctoral thesis, entitled "Être autrement: el ser com a transformació en Michel Foucault", where, through a complete re-reading of the work of the French thinker, she questions the historical transformation beyond philosophies of history.
