Activity and/or professional career

Anna Moreno (1984) lives in between Barcelona (ES) and The Hague (NL). Moreno has taught Artistic Research at the Royal Academy of Art in The Hague for five years and has designed workshops and seminars internationally. She is also the co-founder of the artists-run space Helicopter in The Hague. She has completed her residency at the Jan Van Eyck Academie in Maastricht in 2020. She has given lectures at the San Francisco MOMA, the University of Barcelona, and the University of Applied Arts in Vienna, to name a few. She is also working on her first film, co-produced by Acteon Films and supported by Mondriaan Fonds, Stroom Den Haag, Amarte Fonds, and Prins Bernhard Cultuurfonds.


She publishes essays on art, politics, and architecture and is currently writing her first sci-fi novel with Archive Books (Berlin).


Moreno’s artistic work has been shown internationally at HIAP Helsinki, MOCAB (Belgrade), SAS Geumcheon (Seoul) and Joan Miró Foundation (Barcelona).
