Description

This subject is proposed as an introduction to methods of artistic research and material experimentation in relation to space, with special attention to situated artistic and design practices.

An approach is offered to practices that critically address the complexities of urban environments; and to practices that alter spaces in response to their specific characteristics.

The subject promotes the ability to analyze and sensitively intervene in specific spaces, exploring different scales and forms of interaction among objects, beings, materials, technologies, power relations... Through experimentation and practice, the student will develop tools to conceive and carry out spatial interventions that engage with their context.

In addition, special attention will be paid to forms of documentation and recording in artistic research processes, providing strategies to effectively capture, systematize and communicate the developed processes.
