Description

In the subject Processes and Projects Laboratory III, the third of the Processes and Projects subject, the student is introduced to the knowledge and practice of collaborative projects, their different elements and phases, as well as the opportunities and constraints that the structuring of the work under this authorship. Within the framework of the subject, we reflect on the link between theory, practice and research that occurs in artistic practice, and delve into the development of our own and collective ideas based on observation, reflection and experience, all based on the ideation, development, structuring, execution and reporting of different collaborative practices and projects. As in all the subjects of this subject, challenges and frameworks are posed here so that the student's practice matures in the formalization of the work and in the understanding of its associative resonances, as well as in the ways of showing and presenting, opening their practice to a broader audience, inside and outside the academic context.

Subject Objectives

The aim is to introduce students to collaborative work processes, both between members of the class group and with external agents from the school and the world of art, to jointly develop artistic projects, going through their phases of inquiry, ideation, experimentation, maturation, formalization and communication.
