Description

This subject aims to provide the technical and methodological resources needed to master the tools necessary when conceiving, designing, realizing, and producing a fashion collection by means of a set of tools that make it possible to communicate the ideation of a complex fashion project.

These technical and methodological resources are common tools in the fashion world along with digital tools. Their specific functioning will be learned when designing clothing styles and building technical templates to express and convey these designs to third parties. Among these tools, virtual prototyping software is also included, which allows research and evaluation of designs in a dynamic and fast manner; this tool is becoming a new standard in the fashion world. The entire process will be documented with a sketchbook as a work notebook that the student will work on during class hours.

Through the learning of these resources, this subject intends to provide a set of tools to develop collections in coherence with a concept, choosing the appropriate design and technical methodologies and resources so that what is intended to be expressed can be communicated through clothing.
