This subject belongs to the itinerary of Audiovisual Design

  • Studies: Bachelor Degree in Design
  • Credits: 6 ECTS
  • Year: Fourth year
  • Type: Elective
  • Mention: Audiovisual Design Itinerary
  • Subject code: GDVA04

Description

This subject proposes a practical space for exploring new narrative forms and audiovisual creation using real-time 3D tools, interactive environments, gaming programming, and generative artificial intelligence. Drawing on the knowledge acquired in previous courses, students will transfer digital animation techniques to the world of video games and interactive 3D, thereby expanding their creative and technical potential.
During the course, the relationship between physical space and virtual space will be analyzed to develop immersive experiences with a strong critical and reflective component. Interactive narratives that address social, cultural, historical, or environmental issues will be debated and projected, taking advantage of the potential of technology to generate dialogue and awareness.
Using gaming tools, physical body interaction, data processing, and programming, students will learn to tell stories and propose innovative solutions to different realities. This will allow for collaboration with different design disciplines, such as audiovisual, spatial, fashion, and graphic design, to create virtual simulations that transform and reinterpret the physical world.
