Description

This subject, with an experimental and practical vocation, is proposed as an exploration of creative forms and methods of design research.

It proposes a journey that includes an approach to new paradigms on materiality in contemporary artistic and design practices; the problematization of the concept of innovation through tangible interaction interfaces and the creation of artifacts that put into tension the idea of usefulness; and the use of fiction as a tool to reimagine reality with alternative perspectives.

Through material exploration, prototyping, speculative fiction, and the opening up of imaginaries, this subject aims to provide methodological tools that assist in developing research practices in design with a contemporary, critical, and creative perspective.
