Description

This subject provides tools to critically analyze contemporary audiovisual representations, including advertising images, propaganda, and cinematography. Through a journey across key styles and authors of the 20th century, the focus will be placed on cinema as a means of constructing collective imagery. Classes will combine theory and practice, tackling essential aspects such as narrative, photography, and montage. In addition, emphasis will be placed on current techniques such as generating creative titles and subtitles, incorporating animation into documentaries, and the use of emerging technologies like artificial intelligence and rotoscoping, exploring new formats and visual strategies.
