Description
This subject proposes an introduction to sculpture, experimenting with additive techniques, extraction, assembly processes or molding. Key concepts such as scale, space, and the relationship with the body and the audience are explored, approaching them from both a material point of view as well as from an experience.
The subject offers a workshop space and experimentation with a primarily practical approach. As in the rest of the subjects of this matter, two essential areas are connected: on the one hand, the knowledge of materials and their behaviors, as well as the learning of various techniques and technologies; on the other, the exploration of artistic language and its aesthetic and communicative dimensions.
The practical experimentation is accompanied by work with artistic references in this field, both contemporary and historical, offering a broader perspective that enriches and contextualizes the creative process.
