Presentation

The Master in Creative Industries Management provides designers, artists and professionals in the creative industries with the tools and knowledge they need to develop professionally, undertake and manage innovative projects.

Conceived as a deeply experiential learning space, where participants develop creative projects with direct application to their professional careers, the programme is based on the idea that art and design projects can become sustainable ways of life, rooted in the value they bring to society, and that conscious management is key to making this possible.

The programme offers a transformative journey that combines management, leadership and creativity. The programme addresses topics such as the creation and management of creative projects, entrepreneurship, innovation, conscious leadership and co-creation. Through neuroeducational criteria and methodologies that enhance meaningful learning, this master's degree creates a space for developing the managerial and creative skills that will enable students to lead teams and creative processes with clarity, empathy and vision.

The Master's Degree in Creative Industries Management is obtained by completing the postgraduate programmes in Management and Creative Leadership and in Creative and Cooperative Project Management, of 30 ECTS credits each one. These postgraduate programmes can also be taken independently.

Module 1: Fundamentals of Management

This module provides students with a solid understanding of the principles and practices of management as applied to the field of design and the creative industries.

The second module trains participants to identify, design and communicate proposals of meaning that integrate impact, coherence and transformation in the context of design and creative industries. The module combines an in-depth definition of the purpose and meaning of projects with transformative communication strategies capable of connecting with people, communities and markets from a systemic and humanistic perspective.

Module 1: Creative dynamics and cultures of meaning

This module explores how people interact with creative proposals from a cultural and symbolic perspective. Beyond consumption, it seeks to understand the imaginaries, rituals and experiences that give meaning to creative practices. Participants will learn to observe, interpret and connect with the cultures of meaning that shape the relationship between creativity, identity and community through different activities, dynamics and practices.

Module 5: Final Postgraduate Project

Pre-enrolment and Admission

To apply for a master’s or postgraduate program at BAU, you must request your admission through the pre-enrolment process. Each application is evaluated by the program’s academic coordination team to balance the group composition and provide high-quality training.

BAU's master's and postgraduate programs have limited spots. The pre-enrolment process is carried out through admission rounds and remains open until all available spots are completed. Therefore, we recommend applying early to ensure your place in the program.

BAU students and alumni who have completed at least 50% of the credits for the Bachelor's Degree, Higher Degree in Design, or Graphic Design Diploma, or 100% of the credits for a Master’s or Postgraduate program, will receive a 10% discount.
