The Diploma in Graphic Design
“Bau Evening” offers training that
is both basic and complete,
covering everything a graphic
designer should know and be able
to do. From the principles of
design, typography and
photography, to the application
and specific aspects of the
different design specialisations:
editorial design, packaging,
corporate image, publicity, motion
graphics/web design and graphics
of the environment.
Each term, one of the courses is
practical and project-based, in
which the students develop
projects. This is complemented by
a theoretical course to reinforce
the student’s training at both the
basic and cultural levels.
Objectives and Methodology
In the classrooms, the teachertutor
has a close relationship with
the students, providing
personalised attention and
monitoring.
In the first year, the basic
principles of design are
introduced, and the students
complete projects based on the
different professional fields.
In the second year, the complexity
of the projects is increased, and
the focus is on the classic graphic
design sectors: editorial design,
corporate image and advertising
design.
In the third year, other aspects of
graphics are covered – packaging
design, graphics of the
environment, and motion
graphics/web design.
